Joanne and Arthur were happily married for two years when they had their first child, Leonne. And after three years their family became bigger, as a little star Monica was born. A few months before Joanne and Arthur’s 30th wedding anniversary, Leonne and Monica told their parents about their intention of presenting a gift of a trip to Italy for their marriage jubilee. As Monica told us later, the couple firstly did not believe in it. They thought that it was just a joke, as none of their friends had ever had anything like this before. Coming back to our lovely family, when Joanne and Arthur accepted such a warm present from their children, they decided to keep in touch directly with us to tailor their unique vows renewal ceremony by themselves. As they planned to spend two weeks travelling around the region, they decided to choose comfortable and yet unique accommodation, and we suggested them to lookup close to one of our favourite villas in Chianti.

The key moment for Joanne and Arthur was the location of their accommodation: they are fond of travelling, and since Arthur loves driving by himself the couple wanted to go around by car. Our agency helped them to choose the most suitable car, and we also suggested they have their ceremony outdoors in some ancient town. They were delighted by this idea and we agreed on the medieval village of Radda in Chianti. This village is the perfect setting for couples wishing to renew their vows or get married in an authentic Tuscan atmosphere. This is a place surrounded by lush vineyards and forests representing quintessential panoramas of this lovely region. After careful choice, our team decided to organize the ceremony in a gazebo on a high hill, from where the whole Tuscan village could be observed. Asymmetrical, free-hanging buds of gladioluses were woven into a gazebo what made it look very original. What could be more romantic than a vows renewal ceremony with a view? We invited the best chefs of the town to cook something local yet original (we knew it would be not easy to surprise Joanne!), as Tuscan cuisine is known around the world not only for the remarkable wine from Chianti.
When Joanne and Arthur came to the place we told them in advance, the surprise was waiting for them. Imagine how amazed they were by seeing four chairs standing next to the table instead of two! Of course, family dinner is not an occasion if the family is not altogether.
